Z4M Roadster - Wider tires on stock rims (pics)

I upsized my tires from oem Contis and I thought I'd share some photos since I couldn't find any before buying.

Overall I like the meatier look. After only one short drive my impression is that handling is definitely not as crisp, to be expected, but ride quality and noise level seem improved.

Haven't noticed any rubbing issues.

These are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
235/45/18 F
265/40/18 R

Nice! Did it add rubbing to the front? It does look good and I think the added comfort is welcome

Stock sized 4S are stretched on the OEM wheels, more so on the front.

Front 225 - 7.3" tread width vs 8" wheel width
Rear 255 - 8.7" tread width vs 9" wheel width

On stock suspension you can go up to 245 without rubbing up front, but I think 235 is perfect. I've never noticed any increase in understeer from 235s.

Agreed, 225 PSS/4S just don't seem right on an 8" wheel. 235 squares off the sidewall enough that it doesn't look out of place.
