My suspension refresh is coming along nicely. The suspension arrived three days early from Germany via FedEx.
There are two brands of shocks & struts that can come with the package and I am pleased to see Bilstein shocks and struts. When I ordered it on 10/1/18 it took a few days and I had to call Mod Bargains to confirm a tracking number. Then about another fours days later I had a tracking number. It wasn't in stock stateside so they put the package together and shipped directly from Vogtland Autosport GmbH in Hagen, Germany . It's like Christmas opening the box! I am planning on acquiring Front Control Arms with Turner Motorsport Bushings, Rear Control Arms and bushings (unknown brand at this time) and some performance end links. |

Somebody was selling a full set of 996 calipers in pretty decent condition for less than $400 USD - so I picked them up. And they were only 10 minutes away from my house! Plan is to refinish them over the winter. Undecided on whether I want to stick with the silver finish (leaning this way) or go with something flashier.

Can't speak to a non-M Z4, but it is quite easy on the Z4M. A few sources for mounting brackets designed for the 996 calipers and Z4M spindle, need to machine 5.5mm off the front calipers and get new brake lines. Use your factory rotors and Porsche pads.

What setup would you need to run those specs? I'm looking at a set of TR-10's 18x9.5 ET22 squared.

I always run this same setup on my Z. Using 265/35/18 square tires with -3.7 camber front and -2.8 back. It will eat away your front fender liners though. Mine got chewed up.
