M bumper and bonnet price?
Hi there,
I got accident so I need to replace front bumper and bonnet of my z4. The z4 is insured with full covarage so, I will only pay $500 for deductible. My question is, I am thinking to replace the bumper and bonnet as M. How much do I have to pay extra for that? So, how much the price difference is between 2003 bumper and M bumper? Also I like to know the price difference between 2003 bonnet and M bonnet too. Thanks!! |

Depends where you get it from I know the aero bumper (similar to the M but with fogs) can be had for about 350$ by bonnet I'm guessing you mean rear bumper once again that will depend. Your best bet is to call your local dealer and see how much they quote you for. For both it will definitely be over 500$ even for the regular bumper (non-M)

He's talking about the M hood (bonnet) with the creases.
I know that i've seen some posts where someone has changed the hood but don't recall where. The M bumper has definitely been done see DIY write up by mister_roger. IDK about prices though...

Ridgeway on Bimmerforums pretty much had the front of his Toldeo Blue Z4 roadster knocked off a while back. He replaced the front bumper with the Aero version and the hood with the M version.

Well, for the ///M bumper skin itself, I think it retails for at least $500 at the dealer (check that) -- And that's just the bumper. Add another $300 for lower grills, air ducts, brackets, headlight washer covers, reflectors. Everything you need is listed in my DIY
If you are lucky, you can maybe catch a used on off eBay, but they are quite rare to find.

I think the Aero bumper would look good with the M hood, and be a lot cheaper and more hassle-free than trying to retrofit the M bumper. Take the money you save and get the Aero side skirts too
