Apparently, a german tuner called Markus Flasch and asked "for a friend" whether one could rebuild a stock M4 into a (road-legal) GT3, and Markus answered "why don't you come and see yourself". Pretty extensive (ca. 1 hour) tour of both the engine conversion and the chassis build.

(also includes a M̶4̶ ̶C̶S̶L̶ G87 M2 cameo at around 44:30 and a strikingly honest "I don't know whether you're supposed to film this or not " by the M guy)

Much like my mclaren 675lt that looks similar to the 650, the 675 is full of special parts the “lay” person may not realize.
Between the two cars there are 70% different parts that range from the obvious(body panels) to internal parts

Thats not a M4 CSL, its the upcoming G87 M2 @ 44:30
