I am interested, put me down on your list for 2x2 Twill V. By the way, any concrete timing for actual production? I see this thread has been started way way way....

Happy to add you to the list.Welcome to Zpost.

To your query on production date and thread start-up.....it is not uncommon for projects such this one where development and R&D along with a parent/donor part and participation take from 3-12 months to complete or get finalized.

For me....its been elongated by things like ..

1)-1800 mile move
2)-locate and set-up shop
3)-re-locate and set-up shop
4)-3rd shop set-up
5)-Estate sale
6)-double fracture of left arm this past Easter Sunday.

Life...after all ,owns us and then we pay the debt with death. Ironic.

I'm actually a happier person than that sounds.....but these meds are stroooong,

1)-Dark Schnitzer---------2x2 Twill-V-weave.
2)-inTgr8r----------------2x2 Twill-standard-weave
3)-Jumbosock------------ 2x2 Twill-standard-weave
4)-VinnieAces------------ 2x2 Twill-V-weave (Maybe)
5)-cfine88----------------2x2 Twill -standard weave
6)-Finnegan--------------2x2 Twill - standard weave ?
7)-NEKO ---------------- 2x2 Twill-V-Weave
8)-mexicobmw--(weave choice ?)
9)-habitat412------------1x1 Plain weave
10)-doktore-------------- 2x2 Twill V.

I wish I had a Machismo story Lance but its lame.......its what can happen to a 49 year old jumping over a short 2.5' wall while running the dog, lol. I took a straight-armed header after the leash beautifully laced around my ankles and heard the SNAP ! My woman is so mad at me...I'm like...."get in line lady",lol.

I can't stop laughing! And it's SOOOOOO true. Hope you heal quickly and get back into action as soon as possible. No more runs with the dog?

Thanks I'll walk the little eff'r but no runs for about 3 months I'm betting.

I'm doing an accelerated heal >
1)-Calcium pill before bed.
2)-Pulled off Rx meds for 800ml Ibuprofen
3)-Removed cast for blood flow
4)-Removed sling and bandages for range of motion rehab.
5)-Now its just deal with the pain and move slowly,lol....for 8 weeks+

Thanks Mike ! Onto week 4. Doing pretty good, just can't do any leverage moves at all. I've had a few bangs that freaked my nerves out but able to have movement at all is appreciated.

I'll be climbing a straight up -(zero draft) 25' ladder and doing some roof-top commercial in-field training today....getting the 75lb shoulder bag up with one arm should prove interesting.

Not that it's the only thing, but I forgot if there was mention of approximate/anticipated weight savings with this mod?? Whatever it is, it's saving weight in the best possible area!

True, generally speaking.....a full CF replacement made with the same structure design can be as much as 75% lighter than steel. Somewhat less of a gapfor aluminum.

The racetrack version having Kevlar as friction material and honeycomb for crush factor -( in case of a roll-over)...might tighten the weight gap but be hugely improved for safety sake.
