Well finally an update (been so busy with harvest kicking off and switching to a new job at a different winery)

Rear facelift is done and functional, just need to code the car to get the bulb out warning gone. LOVE the new look though. I was hesitant at first since I had the clear pre facelift tails but the facelift rear makes the car look so much more aggressive and modern.





Also decided to refinish the HM2's. Went with a bronze finish to change things up. Gonna clean her up and take some photos tomorrow hopefully.

I've seen some 19's in a wider more aggressive size but not sure about 18's unfortunately. I'd love to have these with a 10"s rear...oh man that would be perfect

Agree 110% on the facelift tails. At night they look even better IMO! In for updated pics on bronze HM2s

^Yes! At night, a world of difference in the look. Completely modern and almost exotic.

So after a couple weeks of having the car back I started running in to power issues each morning and if the car sat for even a couple hours I'd have trouble starting it up, loss of some features...even power steering! I started with the easiest solution which ended up being a new battery, thankfully. It still blows my mind how weird these cars act when the batteries are going and how it could scare the crap out of a normal consumer.

What did you pick up as a replacement?

I'll get some pics soon but yes bags will be very soon. Excited to start a vip car build. I've been wanting to do one for a while. The power difference is ridiculous too compared to the Z. I only got the v6 but it's the 2013 so it has 333hp, even though its a land yacht it still moves pretty nice.

Ahhhhhh, VIP car.... I'm guessing along with the bags, some camber will be in the mix.

dunno if you've done this yet but[

eliminate the brackets for the bags if you want the rear to go lower.

i ground off the nub for the spring on the rear control arm and used a uv air air house 1 bag with a relocated air fitting. no brackets used at all on mine

Yes sir. Not so much full vip car. vip inspired for sure. I'm more of an OEM+ kinda guy so nothing too extreme just clean and classy.

Thanks for the info. I had to do something similar with my TT to get the rear down. Unfortunately I sold the Z4 before I got to that point.
