Z4 rear fog lights coding

Hi, i have 06 Z4 3.0Si us version but i am taking the car to Europe so i will need rear fog lights. I got the light module with both switches, i was able to record current miles and setting from my original unit but the rear fog lights are still not activated. I will get dashboard light for rear fogs but not the actual lights. I have do ncs expert software but i dont know how to program it to make them work. Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you
Petr

Did you program the new module to the car? The easy way of doing it was to swap just the switch faceplate to avoid module programming, but seems you got that sorted. I will dig up my coding. There was only one option that needs changing with NCSEXPERT. I do have rear fog activated in my Z4M

Thank you for your response. 👍🏻
Yeah, somehow i transferred the setting from old unit to new one 🤷🏻‍♂️
Anyway, i played randomly with some setting (i know i shouldn’t) and not i am able to turn rear fog lights but only left side. Right one is not turning on (i checked the bulb, it is ok).
I will appreciate any help to make this car passibg EU technical inspection

That is normal. Only one comes on. The other is for the brake force display (during hard braking the fogs come on to advert others of heavy breaking). If your car is RHD, then the RHS light comes on when the fogs are on, but you cannot make the two come on unless you mess with the wire and jump the lamps.

So…

On LHD cars the LH fog is on
On RHD cars the RH fog is on
On heavy braking, both come on (BFD overrides rear fog lamp status)

Cheers

I have lhd so i am all set? 💪🏻 i was thinking to bridge the bulbs from the left side but for now i will keep it as is. I know there is heavy braking mode that turns more lights on. Also for Europe no amber side lights allowed, correct?
