Hi from the Bay Area

Hi everyone. I just wanted to reach out to all of California & introduce myself and get to know some of the E85 & E86 enthusiasts out there. I am Sydney & I have been looking for the right M Coupe for over a year now and finally found The One. I will probably end up selling my 2006 GTO, my current daily driver of 3 years - hence the GTUHOH username (my plate)...until I figure out another clever plate for the new baby.

If there are any local meets or cruises happening, I would love to join! Before I start modding, I would love to check out everyone else's beautiful Z4 & Z4M's... hear some exhausts, get some ideas for mods, etc. Anyone have a CSL intake + tune?? Totally interested in that...

Anyway, I was able to pick up an 07 BSM Z4MC from Pace BMW in New York. It is currently in transit en route to Union City, CA. All stock, just how I preferred. I like to start from scratch

Can't wait to drive it once it gets here. I have only been able to drive the Z4M Roadster and an E46 M3... Can't imagine it would be a major difference. Hope to meet some of you!

A bunch of us are going to be raiding Laguna Seca Raceway again on Saturday May 25th. Ya'll are welcome to come out and have some fun (if you're into tracking and stuff).
If you want to drive, you'll have to sign up through NorCal Racing Club's website. Otherwise it's free to just spectate or ride along shotgun with any of us. You'll just need a car or motorcycle helmet.

Welcome, glad you finally found the right Z!

It has been about a year since our last Exhaust 'Fest, and it seems like most of the original attendees have changed their exhausts in one way or another since that time...hahah...

No really though, like MFanatic said, a bunch of us frequent the track days, but we should set up some kind of meet in the next month or so!

Don't think so. I got myself a MT and apparently it's different than I remember 10 years ago on my Rav4. Stalled once in the last 3 days of ownership but I wouldn't recommend drinking hot coffee when I'm driving

my in-law is from Union City so hopefully we will see each other from time to time. Definitely up for a local meet.

Yup BSM on Red with Carbon dash. Just how I liked. Same as the GTO... Black on Red. Absolutely LOOOOOOOOOVE red interior.

I love the e90 M. My boyfriend has an 08 silverstone on red and I was torn on either getting the e90 or e86....but an e90 with low miles was just not in the budget right now plus I already have a V8.

I also would have gone for white on red because owning a black car is super high maintenance. But im used to it.

Mfanatic almost swayed me to get Z4M. Especially after the ride along around Laguna.
But I decided that getting another 2 seater is not practical

Seems like a meet up is definitely needed to celebrate Sat's new M3 and GTUHOH's new Moupe. We've been looking for an excuse to do a "non track day" meet up for a while now anyway. Careful though, once you see all the mods on all our cars your wallet might quickly get much lighter...hahah. Any cool vids of the Goat before you sell it? Always been a fan of those...
