E86 Cooling
Is the blue BMW coolant ok to use?
My temp needle rests slightly above the 1/2 mark. However, it's also 114F here in SoCal. Thinking about using Red Line Water Wetter. Thoughts?

Read the coolant temp for accuracy to know the actual temp before determining if you have a cooling problem. I've only used the blue BMW coolant.

The thing about coolant is that it is a chemical compound. You want to be absolutely certain that the chemical compound being pumped under pressure inside your hot engine does not actually eat said engine. Do homework. Make a smart choice. Mostly, don't freak out just because your temp gauge went up a needle's width in 114 degree weather in stop/go traffic.
