Upgrade NAV Firmware?

Can the 2007 3.0si get a V32 NAV FW update done? How? Is the 2015 Tomtom maps much better than the original Windows95 GUI and ancient fonts?

I do have ISTA+P to diagnose....

Yes, burn the FW iso to a CD, insert the CD in the nav DVD and it will flash. You can even put your own spash screen on it. Don't know how the map can look much better with a screen resolution of 400x234 since it's far from high resolution screen

If you want something more current, look at retrofitting an Android unit with all the bells and whistles, there are ones for the E85/E86, though I have no experience with them.
