Wait... are you saying the stock dash color of Z4m dash is red?! Mine has been white since day one I bought it, but I bought it used obviously. And I've been always puzzled why it is white while all other BMWs I owned / tried were red

I put white gauge faces on my gauges. It helps me see the needles but still doesn't do much to help me see the numbers. If I drove it more regularly I'd probably just remember what is where.
