You know, I thought this a lot when choosing the ratio, and settle on 4.1. Now I think 3.91 might be a better compromise… and, you can still go to a 12% increase by changing tire size down to 40/35 from 45/40.
A 3.91 is 8% increase, tire size is 4%, and 4.1 is 13%. |

After getting boatload of maintenance done (rod bearings, vanos, cooling), decided to get the car dyno’d. Only drivetrain mods are Euro headers, 100 cell high flow cats and off the shelf Epic tune. Put down a respectable 298whp, which means I should be able to crack 300 once I install the Eventuri intake in few weeks
