None to negligible.
I'd still be running them, but they're not suitable for a DD.
The right side only lasted me a year due to the heat from the headers and lack of air flow in stop/go traffic.

Do you remember how many miles you put on to them?
I have them now for little over 5 years (so about 23k miles estimate) but still no tears in the rubber (last time I checked at least. maybe half a year ago)
I wonder if the rubber has already compressed or aged. Maybe take them off in the near future and inspect.
new the rubber looked like this:
https://audio.home.xs4all.nl/zooi/z4...ratechnics.jpg

A year ago I had them off (when I did my rodbearings) but I didnt compare it with the picture when new. (but also nothing stood out of the ordinairy though).

Somewhere around 18k miles.
This may be something that would only happen to me.
Who else sits in stop/go traffic for over an hour a day in 100°F weather in an ///M?
Burned the clear coat off the right side of my hood, too.

that is quite extreme, never saw that happen on any car (but I live in a more moderate climate)

I'm more worried that they get squished over time (instead of affected by heat) like what sometimes happens with the oem mounts.

They do get quite squished over time to the point that I am thinking about replacing them. This only happens on the passenger side - the one that's near the header. The driver side still looks great...so same as with the OEM mounts. I got mine from the original group buy over on M3forum back in late 2013 - so ~5 years and ~30k miles on them. I'll take a picture of it later and will start a separate thread on it.

Yep. Mine got squished, heat hardened, cracked, and collapsed.
Only passenger side. Driver side was like new.
Got a thread about it somewhere here when I switched to BW and made a custom heat shield.
