Feeler: 2007 BMW Z4M Roadster / Imola Red / Black Leather / No-Nav

Considering saying goodbye to my Red Roadster. I'm the second owner since Mar 2010. First owner in Portland OR and had 11.8K miles. Currently at 69K miles. Always garaged. Never tracked. She has received OC enthusiast care:

-Impeccable condition
-Imola Red
-Black leather
-NO NAV
-OZ Ultraleggera rims
-Continental tires in great shape
-Blackstone oil analysis (multiple) within S54 database healthy parameters
-Inspection II completed in it's entirety @ 62K miles
-Bilstein B6 shocks, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, ZHP control arms, all new strut bushings, etc @ 62K miles
-Rogue Engineering exhaust mufflers
-Rogue Engineering transmission mounts
-RPi air intake
-BMC air filter
-CDV
-Venture Shield 3M paint protection
-Turner Motorsports carbon fiber kidney grilles
-Tekarbon carbon fiber mirrors
-Skyer carbon fiber rear spoiler
-Carbon fiber shorty antenna
-M aluminum pedals / dead pedal
-CoCo floor mats
-WeissLicht LED rear turn signal lamps
-7 year battery installed one yr ago
-Original brake pads with a ton of pad left; this speaks to how it has been driven
-All service and aftermarket upgrade records in tact

Original paint is easily an 8 of 10
Interior is easily a 9 0f 10
Seats are a 10 of 10

"To everything there is a season and time and purpose under the heavens"....based on interest in the beloved Red Roadster, we'll see how this goes.

This is a very clean and well maintained variant of the last true analog 6-speed BMW sports cars.

-$8.8K in tasteful mods, incredible suspension upgrades, etc
$27K

Post here or PM me - thanks.

The thought of letting go of my beloved MCoupe had crossed my mind as well recently, but hadn't yet brought myself to even write a "feeler" post. What will you replace it with?

My dream replacement is a 2008 Lotus Exige S; this is out of my reach so I'll probably pay off our 21 X3 for now and look to the future.

Ok I can’t fault you there, same here. But double check I think someone hacked your account RB. I mean come on the price alone I call BS. I mean really it’s priced to sell and not priced to say……hohummmm I have this lunatic of an idea out there but I’m pricing it to the stratosphere so no one will take me serious and they talk me out of it…. : I do though get the same thought with my roady now that I have the coupe but all it takes is sitting in it to come back to my senses

You guys are all nuts to think of selling ; i have three other cars including a 991 and a new to me E90 M3. The latter, while excellent in its own right, completely demonstrates to me why the Z4M is a sports car masterpiece and a true demonstration of what BMW M/// is (was?) capable of. The fact that it holds its own and then some on fun factor against the 911 is telling on its own and that car is over 3x the price. Its more capable and as an engineering feet is something but I guarantee the 911 is not 3x the fun factor, not even 1.5x below 70mph.

I maintain right now the only cars I'd consider selling a Z4M coupe/roadie for are a Porsche GT3/Speedster as they're the only manual trans cars that are that much better in experience.

Logically and rationally, you're absolutely spot on. But we don't buy cars strictly based on the left side of our brain. My heart lusts after a Cayman GT4 for some reasons

Seats are a 10 - 10
Mind sharing your secret to keeping these in 10 - 10 condition at 69k miles?
Perhaps the roadster has an easier entry than the coupe, where side bolster wear is common/hard to avoid.

Eliminated side bolster wear by placing left hand on door sill and using arm to pivot in and not rub against the side bolster to enter.

To exit, I pivot 90 degrees and place legs out and feet on ground and then move forward to the edge of the seat and stand up, never touching the side bolster.

Use of Meguiar's Leather Wipes often.

The seats look OEM brand new.

Which GT4 are you looking at? 981 or 718? Been thinking about adding one as well.

I've spoke to a guy who owns both and take both to the track frequently... He basically liked them both. Z4M is more fun but GT4 is faster. Just different driving dynamics..

Sorry for the thread hijack.. back to the beautiful Red Z4MR..

Mostly 718, but I would highly doubt that will happen as dealer markups has been insane! I'm the type of person who doesn't like to pay MSRP, let alone many $$ above it. BUT I'll "settle" for a 981 if a nice one comes along at a "reasonable" price.

Ever since I drove a Cayman GTS around the Ring I have wanted to get a GT4, but the pricing is insane, 981s are still $100k. I'd rather get a 10yr old 911 cab for less, at least wife could drive it as she is 3 pedal deficient.

Seeing as we couldn’t talk you out of officially listing it RB make sure if she sells that you still swing by here from time to time. The next owner is going to get a true gem.

I just had a vision that the car is haunted by the ghost of Chucky who will pop out of the steering wheel airbag compartment and choke anybody who test dives the car.

Could be true.

As someone that drives these type of cars every other day for work, YOUR 100% Right...... Throw in some choice mods and the z4m platform is WAY above its price point. Id want a 600LT / gt3 / ideally speedster or Gt4 RS to get what i desire. My car is hugely upgraded and its simply untouched by anything under 100k in todays market.
