Coding novice in Gilbert, AZ
Hi Gang. I have followed the excellent instructions provided at https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1627114 for how to do some coding. I have all the software installed and have the cable working.
I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about screwing something up. Anyone local that wants to give me a tutorial before I move forward? The airbag light on the dash won't go off. I installed the simulator and the error code is gone, just want the light off now. Pretty sure I can code it out, but worried I might do something wrong that leads to the top going up when I turn on the right turn signal... If you are in the area and want to show me the ropes, let me know. Thanks. -Vinny |

Been working at this a few hours now and not a lot of progress. Tried INPA to read Airbag system but get errors that it can't read the script. I cleared error memory and the light is still on.
Tried NCS Expert/Dummy but not sure where to find the airbag module within the trace file. |

The passenger seat occupancy mat is notorious for going out on these cars.

AFAIK, coding is not used to turn off an airbag light due to a previous fault, it's cleared with a scan tool (i.e. inpa, ista+ etc...)
