For those who wanted a closer look at the wheels, I haven't brought the car home yet since it's getting some bumper work performed, but went to see it today. They look amazing, and sadly the pictures don't portray the metallic effect well enough. They look incredible in person, and very metallic when the sun hits them. I haven't installed the M-badges on the wheels yetthose will be done when I bring the car home tomorrow.

Vanne: I haven't forgotten, on my drive home I will check the dash and answer your question!

Those wheels look great!

I have a set of stock M wheels with brand new Michelins Pilot Sports sitting in the garage. Wheels have a couple dings worth repairing and I've been toying with he idea of powder coating them gunmetal.

Hmmm... Maybe OVE the seats are done...

Thanks! Frankly the pics don't do them justice. I picked a very metallic powder. In person when the sun hits them they light up...I tried to capture the effect by photographing the side of the car that was exposed to the sun, but the pics could be better.

You should definitely powder coat yours. I've always loved the OEM wheels on the m coupe which is why I chose to have them refinished instead of purchasing other wheels. I did toy with the idea of zcp wheels or even aftermarket, but these look great, are easy to clean, expose the brakes well, and can't beat the price of tires for 18's vs 19's.

By the way, these are wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sports as well

Also love the carbon leather ; )
Finally got my car back! Interesting observation - it seems as if the needles illuminate only by reflection of the light around them. In other words, they don't seem to have any light coming from within them, but when the gauges illuminate, the needles themselves become bright.

Here's how I mounted it.
I'll try and get a pic tomorrow, but black on black under the car ... can't promise good results.

Great idea! My car does not have heated seats so I could get a new switch panel with the seat heater switches and do that as well.

Hard to get shots of it without the car being lifted. Grabbed this while it was on a slight incline. It's a little fuzzy but you can make out the some of the mounting points.

Where did you order it? The prior owner introduced some scratches to the plastic covers/bits on my M steering wheel...so I'm debating having it refinished or simply buy another one. How much did everything run if I may ask, and what all is included?

Thanks!
