the light switch bezel comes out after you pull the left vent/cupholder (pop off the little screw cap thing at the top of your vent then another insidethe cupholder bit IIRC)
The big panel comes off after removing the radio, center vents and a tricky pin kind of clip behind the right edge... remove the vent, become a contortionist, you'll find it The console panel is the real beeeeeya - remove the rear glovebox thing, remove the ashtray panel, remove the kneepads, undo all the bolts, wiggle it out then remove 400 more screws search will help you see how to pull each part... good luck, bout to do this the second time myself and it's not that fun.

I just did the dash trim this afternoon and wrapped it in CF. That pin on the right side was obnoxious. There was a round washer on the thing as well from who the hell knows where. There was some swearing involved.
Tackling the center console this weekend. I anticipate more swearing. |

Finished product. Sorry for the glare in the picture.
I'm glad I did it as the aluminum trim on the console was pretty dinged up by the previous owner but man what a pain in the butt to remove all the stuff. |

Hey! sorry to threadjack but can you provide some details on your Iphone mount and how it's connected? The previous owner did some kind of ghetto connection in my car, it works but it sucks at the same time and there is no mount. Yours looks pretty clean. BTW, CF looks great! I think I'm going to do this, that or piano black.... thanks, |

It's a proclip mount.
It's not as cheap as some other mounts but the fit and finish are worth it. I drilled a small hole next to the Aux input and fed the cable through that. It then runs back through the console to a soundplicity that I have mounted in the trunk beside the DSP. About as stealth as I could get it. |
