Alignment report

Just got an alignment this morning after getting Koni/Eibach springs put on yesterday. There were a lot of red boxes that turned green, but I think those green/red boxes are a gimmick (business analytics 101). Can anyone can tell whether my car was really out of alignment before? The numbers didn't seem to change much, but maybe a couple tenths of a degree is a big deal. I apologize it's hard to read the "in-spec range" on my scanned report.

Toe did change quite a bit and that will probably help the most with tire wear.
To answer your question, if those are true readouts of before and after I'd say it's an improvement.

My front tires are visibly wearing unevenly and are scalloped. I don't need to get another alignment when I get new tires next spring right?

Also, is it just me or have alignments gone up in price considerably over the past few years? I've always paid between $60-90 for an alignment. Today it was $150 at an indy shop. Dealer wanted $170 or $180.

I'm new to these cars and perhaps they are unusually sensitive to alignment. However I don't see anything in those 'before' numbers that should cause scalloping or other unusual wear. You said you got Konis/Eibachs put on; were the 'before' numbers taken before the installation, or after? If after, you don't really know what you had before (your installer did a pretty good job of coming close to the final numbers).

Ah, very good point. They were just installed yesterday so I don't know what the alignment was like on my stock suspension.

if your tires are scalloped, I would also check your FCABs.
They are likely done.

What he ^^ said. btw man, those things turning green from red, is only for stock shocks n springs.. if you've lowered your car, those numbers/colours mean nothing..

what settings did you ask them to set for you?

I told the shop I had gotten aftermarket shocks/springs installed and need to get everything back to spec so my tires don't wear unevenly. The shop is an authorized Dinan dealer and the head mechanic has a supercharged M3, so I figure I'd just let him do his thing w/it.

sweet mate, in that case, no worries, most other shops wouldn't have a clue man. Its nice to know what numbers your shooting for, for example, my zed if stuck on the laser rack and selected the oem z4mc spec, all in the red, as i have a much more aggressive setup dialled in.

anyways, drive it and let us know how your finding it
