The number determines the hardware batch - without it, I will have to see the module in person to perform a read.

Let me pull it out, Tom, thanks!
Why would it have worked properly before and not now? Is there anything I did so I can avoid it in the future? |

Could be a number of things, but I cannot go any further until I can get all the info required.

1. Disconnect iPod from cable 2. Remove battery cables, negative first 3. Touch battery cable terminals together (away from battery) for +5 seconds, a small spark is normal as this is stored power draining from the system. 4. Allow cables to remain disconnected for about 5-7 minutes 5. Reconnect battery cables onto battery, negative last. 6. Reboot iPod by pressing on MENU and CENTER buttons for +5 seconds and then reconnecting to the DICE cable after the reboot process is completed. Let me know if these steps correct the problem, if not - we'll make arrangments for the module to be replaced under warranty.

Wow...that's a lot to go through just to get the unit from setting the repeat song setting. I will try to work on this tonight. Thanks!

It just went through this process while waiting for Hurricane Hanna to arrive. In the garage, it appears to have worked. I didn't turn the car off and back on to see if it went back into repeat mode. Thanks for the help!

does anyone else hear a popping sounds when starting up their car and the last input on the radio was on the DICE.
08 z4m w/nav. also does anyone hear some sort of static/feedback. Its the same kind of sound when you bring phone really close to a cheap am/fm radio and you hear that feedback.

Only Monday-Friday, but if you can get some time off - I would be happy to take a look at your system for you.

When you turn the ignition off without stopping the Dice/iPod and you turn the ignition back on again you get a couple of loud cracking sounds through the speakers. I can also hear a little bit of static sometimes in quite passages of music and when I turn the system on for a few seconds at the start along with the annoying cracking sound. Tom, have you heard of this?

It is the Trunk Kit with 15ft of connection cable between the Dice module and the CD stacker wires. Would this make a difference?

Problem is that we need to see this in action, or have the kit returned for bench testing to see if we can recreate the problem on here. If so, then we can determine the kit is the source of the issue and have it exchanged if still under warranty.

Hello there I have had my dice for a few weeks now and I was really enjoying it. However, today the display has switched and I only get one visible character which scrolls through the spelling of the artist or playlist. I have tried to switch the display using disc6 button but I am having no luck. Any helpful advice?
