Convertible Loose Rubber Piece

2006 BMW Z4 E85 and this piece isn’t flush when top is closed and this makes a really loud sound. With top open it just sits loose as well.

First convertible and really only issue given her age.

Is this piece replaceable? Is it meant to be secured?

Any help is appreciated!

Replaceable…. Did mine a few years ago. Meant to sit flush. Try pushing it back into to its “track”.

If this picture attached properly…. It’s from realoem.com … for my vehicle…. ‘04 3.0i …. Trim piece for around the windshield.
