You're probably right, re: complexion vs. tan.

If Sizemore lost a little weight, I'd be in on that selection. He's been pretty good as the asshole CIA agent in the TV version of Sniper. Always liked him.

Agree with MK, a slightly younger De Niro would be a great call, but I think he's a little past the age you would need for Hurley. I thought Keaton was pretty good, honestly.

Is the TV version of Sniper any good? I just can't gather the enthusiasm about it to commit. A little input would be appreciated.

It's OK. Phillipe is pretty good and the casting is strong. Like most non-cable TV shows, the writing is mediocre.

Isn't Sizemore hooked on drugs? He was good in Saving Private Ryan.

Yep, Sizemore has a drug problem.

I was hoping he'd gotten clean, but that Jan arrest would indicate otherwise.

What you also failed to mention (but I pray fervently was also present) was an 8ft high opaque fence surrounding said individual from being seen by anyone else.

Working on Seveneves by Neil Stephenson. Picked it up for a work trip to read on the plane, haven't finished it yet. Too many hobbies & a 3 year old make finding time to read a bit difficult.

I have read every David Baldacci, every Lee Child, every Nelson Demille, and every Michael Connelly. They are my favorites. Also 95% of John Grisham, who, really, kind of started it all I read various business books interspersed. Company of One by Paul Jarvis is my latest there. Mild blowing. Also just read a bunch of books about the 60's. Owsley, Orange Sunshine, etc. Fascinating.

I've read a bunch of Baldacci also. I like the earlier books in the Stone series but have read his others also. I'm way behind on Baldacci. So many books, so little time. But summer is on the way. My favorite pass time is sitting poolside and knocking out those books. Maybe Mother Nature will work with me this year. I bought a house with a pool, moved in last May and it rained almost every weekend.

We got rid of our ghetto pool (plastic kiddie version) so now I just keep the hose on with a sprinkler head, for those really HOT SoCal days (> 75) when I'm sitting in the back yard with a book. Having the hose spread on the lawn to take advantage of solar heating makes it not so shockingly cold.

I picked up a WEB Griffin book Friday, because I know 2312 will b done in a few days. Not sure what to expect.

Sat about 1.5 hours in sun yesterday, some reading, some with head just lolling to the side. Yard work is hard work!
