Engine, clutch or gearbox? PLEASE HELP

Hey so Ive been having a problem with my Z4 every time I accelerate it revs high but doesn't go anywhere then it will kick in.

It will start to rattle the car sputter and go in gear. I serviced the car myself, drained the oil, changed oil filter, air filter and put new engine oil in it and still rattling.

I just wanna know is that the engine gonna seize or just a clutch or gearbox problem?

Not yet haven't used the computer to check as mechanics are busy till sometime next week, tryna figure it out myself but deffs got clutch smoke smell... Just making sure it aint a gearbox or engine as well
