resurrecting an old thread...

Any one have any further input on how to remove the entire dash?

I just did this on my E46 M3 and was pretty easy...just a lot of screws.

thanks,
Rob

nah its pretty easy actually.. start with the easy bits, Thaco, cup holders , radio, center airco exhaust, etc, then the dash skins/covers, glovebox and then just go slowly.. depending on how hot your environment has been, you can expect a lot of tabs to snap..

Ill assume youve already removed your steering wheel and airbag?

(make SURE BATT IS REMOVED FROM POWER!!!)

Just go slow mate, and bag/label the screws/bolts.. there will be a few of them..

sorry i havent got any pics, when i did it, it seemed daunting at first, but its very straight forwards..
