I do love a convoy. Expecially an M coupe convoy. Though I think the closest I've ever been to that is the last time I saw you.

Just came across a pic of the roof of the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring Superleggera for the first time today. Drool. Can't wait for the Z4 coupe version.

Updates? Is this totally on the back burner until the CF roof group buy orders are filled?

That Alfa Romeo roof looks awesome. Ferrari FF also has a similar roof. The quality of the carbon roof produced by Twisted has me *patiently* waiting for the moonroof. It's quality is amazing.

Thanks for checking in guys. My son has moved back home with us due to Non-Hodgkins Burkitts Lymphoma Cancer. I've been adapting my life around the changes.

The Moonroof is still under going some R&D to finalize a prototype for further testing. Its been difficult to design and test a performance seal that could be used by both the CF and Moon versions, but I'm close now. The OEM seal gap is not a constant thickness from front to back and requires special methods and materials. Keeping its price point down is a struggle.

Thanks guys. First few rounds of chemo and spinal injections. He's got about six months of this before we'll know more. I cut all his hair off yesterday due to fall-out mess and aggravation.

I'll update this thread with some news as soon as there is some.

I feel for you and your family twisted. There's definitely hope. My mother is 5 years in remission from Non Hodgkins. It was a tough journey but she got through it. However, she later developed cardiac myopathy because of the treatment. This is common and can occur 5-10 years + after treatment. Still, she is alive!

Just for the record: from the CF roof thread post #386, 5/30/13: "Very tempting but I'm holding out for the moonroof." Not as official as David's proof, though, perhaps. Also see post #282 and 283 here. Hehe. Ok, I'm done. Will be worth it no matter how long it takes to get to the top of the list. :-)
