Apart from being FN' ugly, I could think of endless better things of doing with nearly $500

Take your cover off and see if there's reduced temp.
Be interesting to know. My money's on not noticeable.

This has existed for a long time, but I've also never seen anybody actually run one. The cooler temps might extend the life of your ignition coils, but if that was a concern I'd just take the cover off completely for track days.

I find this solution (credit to GT4) much more appealing.
