05 z4 3.0 easy quick question pls

I have the icv, disa valve off and the throttle body boot... can i just spray throttle body spray on the throttle body without removing it? Is this a fine procedure ? I just want to clean the visible side just bc it is visible while i am cleaning the icv and rebuilding the disa valve with an aliminum kit.

Shouldn't be an issue. Are you just using throttle body cleaner?
