What did you buy your Z4 this week?

I purchased all of these components yesterday as I continue to amass suspension parts that will go on with my Vogtland Sport Suspension for a refresh.

I didn't get the H&R Sway Bars yet, but I will soon add those to the equation.

After 4.5 years, my CoverCraft NOAH car cover tore when I put it on my Z4 M Roadster a couple of weeks ago and pulled it over the mirrors. Further inspection to see if I could tape it or sew it resulted in more tearing.

I had washed it for the first tie a few weeks earlier because there was a bunch or dirt/dust inside. I followed the instructions, taking it to a laundromat, using a large front-loader, and using Simple Green soap, double rinse, and air dry. Turns out it was probably one of the layers breaking down because it got worse after I washed it, leaving a slight yellow powder all over the car.

I don't remember where I bought the first one and Covercraft wants about $250 for the same cover, without the BMW logo on the front. I found one on Amazon from BMW of Minnetonka for $155. It arrived and it's exactly the same cover, complete with a storage bag, clear plastic rear license plate window, and plastic grommets on each side for the optional cable lock.

Had some oddly (but welcome) warm weather this weekend so got around to starting my airbox swap. Unfortunately in my stupidity I broke on of the (reusable) clamps on the throttle body side of the boot.

So now I get to buy some $6 clamps and wait for the dealer to get them in before I can continue -_-

Using this time to do some cleaning around the engine bay I couldn't do before (picture is before I clean up).

I recommend removing the ICV and cleaning it with brake cleaner and the throttle bodies of course.

I was wondering about the length. I opted for the mini length RTD shifter, but if those are race length they look fairly short - maybe the angle in the picture?
