Need help locating speaker socket plug!
I purchased my car a few years ago with aftermarket speakers where the Carver subwoofers would have been. The installer cut off the OEM speaker wire plugs to connect universal speaker tabs. No big deal, except those subwoofers aren't well-matched to the rest of the speakers and I'm going to try installing the regular 2ohm speakers in their place.
I am needing some info on how on earth I might find the correct plug for the speaker wire socket?? Check the attached image for what I'm referring to! I can.... probably hack these up and attach the wires without the correct plug, but I'd like to do this as cleanly as possible. I've poked around online to find some "BMW" speaker plugs but the listings show plugs that don't really match the shape or show that they would even fit with modification.. I also have failed to find any sort of part number that points to this specific connector. I assume that since the speakers are the same as the footwell, it would have the same connector there, too, but I haven't been brave enough to attempt removing the footwell speakers yet. Interior plastics are so brittle....
