Joying install and mic question
Hey all.
I've been installing a Joying headunit today and have gotten the steering wheel buttons working for the most part. So my question is two fold. Any tips on where and how to install an aftermarket microphone where to run it? I have a blackvue dashcam that has a cable running around the left hand side I believe. Is there a particular route on the drivers side to place a microphone? Is there any way of using the car mid rear roof mounted microphone? I tried to map the speak button on the wheel on the setup and it makes the google prompt start but if I speak nothing is picked up. Using the in car mic would be my choice especially as it feels quite cramped behind the headunit with all the adaptors. Thanks for any help. It's my first time doing it my last joying headunit was installed by an electrician on another car. |

Cheers. I got it all installed and mic hidden. Only thing not really working is radio reception for some reason.
It did sadly highlight something wrong with power delivery under load at times. I'm getting my dose of BMW issues now |
