Refreshed the chassis
Finally have time to refresh chassis that I have been dreaming for
may be some of you would say why not get the upgrade parts since you are replacing all these stuff? I like how the OEM parts provide firm/comfort at same time, my miata race bushing make my butt hurts.... Also the OEM parts design to last long! lemforder is the OEM supplier that I don't need to pay premium for BMW logo Ohlins B8 with 10 years old H&R sport spring (yea... its not sagging at all!) Rear old parts off, there are much more bushings that I didn't take photo... whatever you can think about its been replaced happy with the result ! I thought the ride quality will be so good at first... it stiffing up the whole car and we are basically sitting on the rear wheel. or may be I'm getting old that I can't barely drive stiff cars... but one thing that I know I am smiling doing every turn in the city/ track after the chassis got refreshed next project Last edited by Jony722si; 01-12-2022 at 04:29 PM.. |

I couldn't agree more, fresh rubber bushings are quite firm but still soak up the vibrations.
Not interested in driving a track car on the street anymore. I have a big order from ECS and Bimmerworld coming in the next couple weeks and as you say, if it's a wearable item it's on my list. Really looking forward to the brand new feel. Who did you buy most of your stuff from? Local or the US?
