QuickJack Balance
Has anyone raised a Z4M on the QuickJack with a "radial shift" to the rear rather than the front? In other words, the car shifts to the rear rather than to the front? The jacking points are roughly the same distance in back of the front tires and in front of the rear tires. With a 50/50 weight distribution, the balance should be fine, no? A shift to the rear would be much easier to accommodate in my garage. Thanks!!

Thats how I do it too... the only thing about the QuickJack I use is the rear is 100% on the jack points but the fronts are only ~50% on them.
Its still SUPER stable, but I wish it was a perfect fit, ya know. |

There's a 29.5" to 60" spread on the jacks and the Z4 is only 45" at the furthest measurement on the jack points, so it's strange yours is only supported 50% on the front, maybe you have an earlier version of the quickjack? I checked this diagram prior to purchasing to ensure they would fit properly. |

Am I the only one that raises forward?!
I have full contact with all 4 side jack pads.

No, I go either way, depending what end of the vehicle I'm working on since I place a jack stand under the end of the quickjack where I'm working. I find it stable using it in either direction so don't think it really maters

Here’s another option from the Quickjack site if you have a 50/50 weight distribution
