How a Clutch Works
Not a new video (so many here may have already seen it), and there's no new insight to anyone who has installed a clutch, but it's the blue coupe in the video that has me posting this.

Gas pedal is not a stock E86 assembly and the clutch arm and slave cylinder are on the wrong side.
This Coupe has too many mods to consider the video as legit!

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

The other issue is with the "uphill start". The Z4 has a hill holder function which uses the brakes to hold the car in place until you engage the clutch. You don't have to use the clutch to hold the car as they describe.
