All done! These guys did amazing work!
Next step: re-cover the red door panels in black alcantara with green stitching.

I will post additional pictures this weekend.

Can you post some of how it is mounted behind the seats and on the shock towers, and some of how the interior is now.

You just might get your design copied.

EDIT: It looks awesome in that green.

We did not weigh the cage. The car now weighs 3100 lbs with the addition of the cage, wing and splitter hardware.

Yeah it was a quick-fix. I just used some of the foam I have in the media room. I remove the foam when I go to the track since they tend to blow around in the car when the windows are open & driving at high speed.

Search for Auralex Studiofoam on Amazon

What are you planning on doing with the current door cards? I'm debating a red interior.

Going to re-cover them in black alcantara w green stitching. Just trying to find the right place to have this done.

I had a similiar setup on my S2000 with hardtop back in 2004. My NSX and old S2000 had much more leg room than my Z4M. This is really hardcorp. Do you daily drive this?

Looks good though!

I know of reputable place that can do the job. They did my car and countless other BMWs from this forum. They are located in Los Angeles.

PM me if you're interested. I can send u some pictures.

That is what I would call a very serious modification for a street car, unless you are going to make it a dedicated track only vehicle.

While I wouldn't mind a full harness set-up the trouble of doing it properly as you have shown is extreme.

I hope you don't care about the resale value.
