For those of us who plan on mating ceramic coated euro headers with your setup and want an exact coating match... which jet hot coating is on your product?

We used the 1700F Extreme sterling since we found that would be the ideal for the system. nothing wrong with the 2000F one.

News on the system

X-pipe = 9Lbs
S-pipe = 7Lbs
Street Resonators = 3Lbs each
Sport Resonator = 2Lbs
Cats = 3Lbs each
Bypass pipe = 2Lbs
Mufflers
Street 13Lbs each
Sport 10Lbs each
Race 8Lbs each

So S-pipe + 2 Resonators/Cats + X-pipe + 2 Mufflers = average 42Lbs for Sec1 and Sec2

Oem mufflers Alone have 44Lbs

Also the clips of street and sport mufflers will be delayed a bit since they do not fit my car with the modified swaybar setup. I will have to see what I will do about that yet.

So the only interface with the OEM system is at the headers? You have to buy everything from there back?

I think I should have started saving sooner!

The muffler weight alone makes them not worth keeping. The E46M3 is even worse at over 50lb!!

Sound clips of the race + x-pipe please

If that is too loud, I know I will have to settle for sport.

So I installed a system in my car today to test some of the parts and this is what I got:

OEM Headers
DKF S-Pipe with Street Resonators and X-pipe with Race mufflers

60 db at idle
81 db at 3500 rpm
91.1 db at 7k rpm

No drone and no rasp.

I will make the clip on Wednesday when my HD camera arrive.

You should compare these to stock so that people can get an even better idea of the differences (since you have so many different options available for mix-and-match)
