Maybe, or maybe not. We have a waiting list for the scoop orders so when I finish making them, they are usually shipped out right away. The chances of having some that arent already sold are slim.

Shipped out. You should have received a notice with the tracking number. Only ones that have not shipped out (if ordered before yesterday) are the kits which include the filters. |

Right - i'm tempted enough now to try one of these!
Does fitting require the removal of the bumper? Or can it be done from under the hood?

Installation can be done with the simple removal of the driver side grill assembly. The intake scoop is not visible or accessible from the engine bay. |

If someone has a pre-06 in SoCal and can part with their car for a few days, then you guys may be in luck but no one has stepped forward yet.

Had a look in my grilles today. Found the standard part. See what every means about it being a bit restrictive!
Silly question maybe, but has anyone tried just running the car (on a dyno would be good!) with just the standard scoop removed? I decided to take mine out anyway, whilst I wait to get the RPI from CA. Have a couple of track sessions this weekend so will see if it makes a difference by feel....though I expect it will be hard to tell.

My dyno runs were done with the scoop off, it should improve it slightly but not anything noticeable. By removing the dam blocking the intake duct theres a higher probability flowing air will find its way in. Of course no where near as effective as a scoop directing the oncoming air straight in.

Deflector delete

I'm going to run sans the deflector, but don't expect to feel any power increase. BTW mine broke off along the seam. It's an inexpensive part: P/N 13 71 7 519 243, MSRP $4.20
