3.0 I emblem
The "I" fell of my 3.0 I on the left side of my car. Lucky to find it and Elmer's it back on. My question is, IF this would happen while driving, where could a replacement be found? Junk yard maybe?

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

I assume you used the waterproof version of Elmer's.
I don't even know why they bother using the "i" since it stands fuel-injection instead of carbureted, which hasn't been used for several decades |

My guess is the F20 and F30 tractors dated in the 1930's. It was an arm buster. Had to hand crank to start. It had man powered steering. Your New Holland looks like a handy machine. There's a New Holland dealer a few miles from here. |
