Z4M Roadster & Coupe: Pictures & thoughts

First of all, I have admit that I am a bit of a Z4M fanatic, having owned three in the past. I owned a white M coupe from 2009~2016, this current M roadster from 2018 and another white M coupe from 2021. I loved how these cars drive, their great engines, analog M feel and wanted to have both the coupe and roadster.

The roadster was a Norcal, San Jose car for 10 years of its life until I bought it from Mountain View and brought it down here to Socal in 2018. Similarly, the coupe has also been a California car all its life, but it spent 10 years down in Socal car until I ended up buying it from a gentlemen in Mountain View. Funny how things end up working as I picked up both cars from the San Jose area.

I have always compared the Z4M coupe and roadster as the poor-mans, affordable Porsche GT3 and speedster or the GT4 and Spyder. The coupe and roadster does drive quite differently and have different characteristics. The coupe is stiffer & sharper while the roadster is more compliant and exhilarating from the open top. Either way, both cars have fantastic hydraulic steering, 6 speed shifter and perhaps the best inline 6 motor ever made, the S54. The motor really likes to rev and provides a mechanical howl from the individual throttle bodies which exudes a charm that new cars just do not have anymore.

I have now owned the Z4M roadster for almost 3 years and the M coupe for half a year. Having both cars for half a year now, I realized I have only driven a couple thousand miles on them so I felt that it was time to pair down. That being said, the roadster is for sale and listed in the classified. At this point in my life, I feel that I need more assets + house + income to justify keeping or collecting extra cars.

Here is some photos of the Z4M roadster and Z4M coupe together from earlier this year.

Thank you and agreed! Roadster with roof down looks great, it's a requirement.

Both look great which is why I kept both for a while... lol

Looks like the roadie maybe going to a new home in San Diego soon.

Titan TS5, 18x10 +25 squared

Was running 265 square, bought them at a special price

Front needed more than -3.7 camber to clear so went down in tire size to 245

My fenders are rolled and slightly pulled and around -2 degree camber

thanks for replying, looks soooo good upfront , just to confirm any rear worked needed ??? this seems to like a pretty Go to setup on the rear for the z4m.

Thank you! Yes I had all my fenders on both cars shaved. It's a bit aggressive in the front for daily driving but works for me since I have another daily.
