I'm so anxious to get this installed but I just moved and don't have the car at my new place. Probably at least another week. :-( At least I have the airbox as a centerpiece for now.

My current mods are Euro headers and cat with Evolve tune. I can't wait to install but need to smog my car first. There is a group drive 24th of this month to the gold country. I like to button everything up so I can do an extended test drive ? I already talked to an Evolve dealer in East Bay Area to do a remote tune to get every pony for my $. Let's see if my car can get 320 whp. Of course cams are planned for future. |

i had a local shop installed for me, n they said it was pretty simple. everything is pretty straight forward except maybe the IAT MAF rewire part. i believe my shop did not solder the cables, they jst cut the cable and use electrical tape.

I've been back and forth on how to do this since I need it to be easily reversible due to having to pass CA smog every couple of years. I was considering using bullet connectors and then heat shrinking over them. Has anyone else installed their airbox and had to account for similar considerations?

Just finished up the install and went for a quick drive. Everything looks good, no codes. There is a noticeable power gain and dear lord the sound is amazing!
