Thanks for the link! Seems like a few more steps than your average BMWs with a window frame. The regulator, however, looks to have metal sliding clips as opposed the plastic clips on other BMWs that are the normal failing points

I've realized a while ago that this car is a keeper though.
Oh man, I’m sorry to hear. Kinda feels good to know I’m not the only one leaving their Z4 parked for a long while. Only reason why I haven’t sold it. If I’m lucky, I would get about $14k for the car but with that money, I wouldn’t be able to afford another badass car I enjoy driving without actually having an extra car payment

I don’t recall to be honest but the instructions make it so easy to DIY it. Good luck and happy wrenching!

It's no worries, I bought the car knowing regardless of what the Blackstone oil analysis said, I'd go through this for peace of mind, especially since I bought the car with no service history more or less.

The thought of selling it has not even crossed my mind at all actually, I genuinely love this car and plan to keep it for good! And hoping to pick up mods like yours along the way

Mann+Hummel Catch Can

Found a Provent 200 IV catch can. A little over-kill, but should work nicely with the new supercharger.

I updated my maps with the 2014 North America EAST & WEST High. I also took a 1200 km road trip. And then I treated the car with a full wash, clay and wax

Also did the E46 ZHP lower front control arms. Can recommend. Noisy but the feel is miles different. A lot less slop.

Standard control arms use a ball joint with a plastic or rubber inner liner. The ZHP control arms have an all metal ball joint with much less slop and play even as it wears.

This was done at a shop along with a few other things. My understanding is that it's not the craziest in terms of difficulty. Lots of youtube guides for the e46.

I just ordered the blanking plates for a cupholder delete (mine are rattling like crazy and useless) and the oddments tray to delete the SOS button from the center console.

Part numbers for the cupholder delete are 1x 64226963779 and 1x 64226918464. I'll try and get some good pictures for a DIY write up when everything comes in.

1. I recently did the windshield cowl:

2. Installed rear Eibach lowering springs to soften up the rear after installing coilovers with 8k/10k linear springs.

3. Just pulled the trigger on 3 bulbs that were out, 2 new sets of //M floor mats.

4. Castrol TWS 10w-60 oil change is due soon.
