Whats my Z4m coupe worth ?

I have a 2006 z4m coupe w/o nav. 55k miles, clean carfax and recently went and spent a couple grand fixing anything that was broken with oem parts. Cup holder, passenger mirror etc, and paint touch up. I also put the original rims back on. Ive had offers from corporate places from $9-$15k. I have not yet tried to seriously sell the car but will soon and was curious what you all thought it might be worth.

Low to mid $30's if you are ok with selling it yourself, less if you want to sell it to a dealer. I would guess mid to high $20k's to the dealer.

Here are other asking prices, asking and getting are normally different.
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...&numRecords=25

If what you say is correct and your offers of $9k - $15k, I will buy it for $16k immediately.

Thats what I thought. Crazy lowball offers from the big companies. I figure I would sell it private. Thanks for the reply, its greatly appreciated.

No nav is a huge plus. And at 55k miles, you're coming up on an Inspection 2, but the buyer would have time before needing to worry about it. If the car is back on stock wheels, you have service records and the rest of the car is in good shape, you could probably get $30-35k. Might be worth throwing it up on Bring a Trailer or Cars & Bids. Z4M Coupe sellers that take good pictures and are responsive in the comments are doing well on BaT.

First Z4M with wood trim! Wow! That gotta be worth something.

You will get decent prices if you try BaT or Mecum auction sites where unique classic or future classics are appreciated.

I agree with the $30-$35k estimate others have tossed out. Those Dark Sepang seats don't photograph well for whatever reason, at least to my eye. But I've seen them in the flesh and the color looks MUCH more appealing to me to the naked eye than in photographs. Some don't care for the Madeira wood trim but I think it's great and not at all out of place in the Z4M. Non-nav is a HUGE plus - Eric at EAG told me about 2 years ago that it adds $4k to the bottom line on cars he resells.

Z4M's seem to bring appropriate value on Bring-a-Trailer, so that's where I'd probably list it if I were going to sell. Don't get lowballed! It's a great example.

If you do sell on BaT - do a FULL detailing, and get very good pics, whether you do them yourself or use a pro. Include the undercarriage. Clean, well-photographed cars definitely do better when the hammer falls.

From your description, to me it's worth $28-30K assuming no under carriage damage. To others possibly lower or more.

If you are determined to sell that Gem take your time, anything less than $28K would be absolute robbery in my opinion.

What kind of undercarriage damage should be avoided? Wonder what people look for on BAT and elsewhere.

I have a friend, who used to be on here, with an Interlagos Blue M Coupe and who swapped out his Carbon Leather dash for the Maritime wooden dash. Now that's rare!

Looks like this:

Think Carbon Leather looks better. I think completely custom wins the "rare" contest but surprised he went this route.

The plastic front underbody panels (left, center, right) can be easily cracked and broken by accidentally driving into a curb or other obstruction. I replaced both of mine in 2019 and the left and right front corners are relatively pricey and the price varies from time to time. At one point they were almost $200 each but I think that I paid around $140. This is the second time I've replaced the left front which was broken when I bought the car used from a dealer. To replace them requires removing and replacing the front bumper cover. These pieces are critical as they provide indirect support for the bumper cover, wheel well covers, and front fenders.

The under-engine panel at one point ran almost $400. I chose to repair mine with a fiberglass repair kit.

Yeah, I like my Carbon Leather. I like wood dashes, but only on classic cars.

I really like that, although not sure every car can pull that off. But I think maybe a Roadster with TiAg or white exterior, black or brown interior with that trim would look super classy. It gives me a very Rolls Royce vibe, which I know is almost opposite of what a Z4M is.

Sorry for late response. Our cars are already low in terms of ride height from the factory. Damaged plastic panel covers and the studs that hold them might be ripped off or bent.

In my case, one of the metal studs that holds the driver side plastic panel was gone, so I had to install a rivet that's threaded on the inside with a matching bolt to compensate for the stud that came off. It worked well for me because it kept the panel from dragging on the ground. The plastic panel under the driver side cost me only $160 from the dealership as the original one was all chewed up.

Also, the plastic panels somewhere behind the front bumpers underneath could be cracked. It's called " Undercar shield" online, my right side was cracked and cost me about $250.

Also, Z4 floor pans can easily bent or scrape on crappy roads which removes the rubberized coating underneath. You can buy rubberize coating spray to fix it, but some people don't and it can build rust in time.
