Suspension CSCS Time Attack - Production Class

I am in the final stages of modifying my car to run CSCS Time Attack in the
RWD Production class

Shock can make a huge difference in laptime time so was looking at getting
the best Shocks I could within the rules.

Class Rule States:

“Shocks may be upgraded with a maximum two-way adjustable damper (one
bump and one rebound adjuster), no remote reservoirs. The reservoir must be
attached / mounted to the shock body from the manufacturer.”

If the rules allowed remote reservoirs many excellent track worthy options
exist. Without canisters most of the options I looked at with dual adjustment
were ideally suited to the Street / mild track use. Having a preference
towards a Monotube design further limited available options.

I ended up special ordering these, they are in the final stages of being assembled.

Will post more once I get the finished product in my hands.

Truthfully, I ran CSCS once before in street class on my MX5, it has remote resevoirs on the MX-5 cup suspension. I don't know how much tighter their inspection has become, but last time 2 ways are inspected and was granted street class as I applied for even though it explicitly said I cannot have remote reservoirs.

I do think unless you are desperately quicker than the rest of the field, they won't try to make a fuss about it.

Good to know

Doesn’t look like KW will arrive on time to proper set up before the next event, going to up the spring rates and run the H&R Coilovers. Not what I was hoping
