Hello!

I am trying to code CVM module using NCS Expert to retrofit the hardtop and I get an error. What I'm trying to do is to activate the function where the ECU detects the hardtop. Basically disable the buttons (Open/Close soft top) when the hardtop is on the car. NCS Expert reads CVM but can't write the new values. Please help!

.TRC file looks like this:

I change it to aktiv and save the file as .MAN and then when I try to code it I get the error from the beginning. I can GM5 but not CVM.

Is there another option or special settings which needs to be changed together with HARDTOP DETECTION?

The error log file looks like this:

Give this Forum a try:

I think that Forum goes into BMW computer info.

However, if all else fails simply trace the up/down buttons back to the fuse box and simply pull them when the hard top is on and re-install when you go back to the soft-top.

In general you can post links to other sites.
For reasons unknown, zpost has blacklisted a few.
