Z4m stripped chain tensioner guide bolt

So, durring my vanos fix i was installing the chain tensioner (secondary exhaust side) and stripped some threads. Totally banging my head againt the wall now. Any suggestions? I have very little room here to do anything. Spent all day trying to clean and insert the bolt.

Finnally got the threads clean enough to allow the tensioner to in and out easily. Just took a few hours, lol.

Now next issue, is it possible to install the vanos with the splined shafts attached? I really dont see how.

No, you need to install the splines, then the VANOS unit, it can be a faff as you need a 3rd hand
