ADV.1's on a Z4M

I originally posted this in the e89 forum... OOPS!

Customer wanted a small diameter lightweight rim for his Z4M.

Rear wheels look awesome. Fronts look awkward to me for some reason.

Same size diameter F&R (19") - but the Rears have a Deep Concave profile on them, while the fronts have a flat profile hence the difference in appearance.

It's kinda fail when 19" wheels look like 17's. You basically put up with a worse ride comfort for, ugh, nothing.

I agree, the black lip makes them look too small, especially for 19s

If that's 'small' diameter, I can't imagine 'large'.

Funny that 19" wheels are considered "small diameter" these days. Fashion overtakes function once again.

As far as fashion over function... I understand the concerns. Typically our wheel sets can go bigger, wider, and still save weight and thus rotational mass over OEM.

We just finished up this set for a new 599 GTO - and if you want to talk about crazy-lightweight OEM spec wheels - this car is about as insane as it gets. Our set was still lighter than OEM and the customer couldn't be happier!

Regardless, thank you for all the feedback and if anyone has any additional questions i'm happy to answer them.

Is the rear rubber stretched that much to avoid fender rubbing? If so then the offset is incorrect in the rear.

Do you have any proof of your wheels being lighter than the BBS FIs the 599 GTO comes with?

Our sets are custom made to order and don't ever rub or require stretching UNLESS the customer spec's their orders that way. I guess some guys either really like the stretch look or they want to fit a larger width than they could normally run with correct offsets.
