3.0si Coupe - Auto Transmission for HPDE

Hey everyone, I was hoping to get some insight from folks that track their Z4 3.0si. I am looking for a manual coupe instead of roadster but those have become so hard to find so I am starting to consider the auto transmission as a potential weekend fun/HPDE car. Does anyone have experience with the auto transmission on track? How reliable has it been? Does it overheat on track at all? Are the shifts somewhat quick? I am not expecting anything to be as good as the ZF8 or DCT transmissions but would be serviceable to use?
