Gun in your Car?
For those that live in states were possession of a firearm is legal, do you have a firearm in your car?
If so what kind? Where did you place? (in center console, tapped to dash, under seat etc.) Please exercise your Fifth Amendment rights if you live in a state where possession of a hand gun is legal, or you are not lawfully allowed to be in possession of a firearm because of lack of license and/or prior felonies

Don't have any of mine in the car because I live in CA, so its pretty much pointless, plus all I have are large rifles lol. I've got an M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Springfield Model 1903, and then a couple of .22 L/R's. I'm in the market for an HK USP .45, and I'd like to get my hands on a SA Model 1911 GI .45, and a Sig 220 or 250.

Doesn't have to be in a container if I remember correctly, just be in the trunk or whatever and the ammo has to be separate or something. CA gun laws are stupid, if you read the literature, assault rifles are banned because they essentially look scary and intimidating. There is no law against caliber of weapon, but heaven forbid it have a pistol grip!

If a criminal is caught with a gun the prosecution then has 1 more law they can tack on to the list if charges thus keeping the criminal locked up for maybe a month longer

Because thugs know that if they are going to break into a house they better be certain no one is home; because they know 1 out of 4 chance the owner will have a gone and they will be shot. Same with a car, there is always that risk that the car owner can shoot you. (less of a risk than house tho)

there are times I wish I had a gun in my car, even without bullets. just to scare off tailgaters and fast and furious racers that don't stop revving and shit

Hypothetically speaking, If I were carrying a pistol with me in the car and some dude tried to "scare" me by wielding a firearm and pointing it at me, I'd take the time to practice a failure drill(two in the chest, one in the head or pelvic area for you non-military type) on said person. Definitely would not take my chances in today's society. It would stand in court too because I was acting in self defense in fear for my life. Hell, if you wanna fuck with a tailgater or "fast and furious" racer, dial 911, give them your location and direction of travel and report the person as a drunk driver. Be sure to give them all the car details as well. |

I've actually never been shooting up in Sac, I just moved here in august, but I'm down to go. I can bring my M1 at the very least, I'm working on acquiring a sage intl. stock with rail mounts so I can attach all sorts of neat technology to it.

If I had a weapon, why would I want to tell you where it is?
