What have you done ? Looks like you bumped your head really bad (a lot of blood was involved)!

I still remember a photo from you (2-3 years ago) when something was removed on your head and that looked bad as well...

Tramadol is a good pain-killer. And I wish you a speedy recovery ...

Sorry to hear that.

I watched a documentary on Prime that you may like.
It’s called Ferrari 312B, they restored a old Ferrari F1 car and entered it in the vintage race at Monaco.

Hope you get better.

Hopefully MAX's Honda ponies will last in the 4 remaining races and the 2 sprints.

Let's hope a PU won't decide the outcome of the WDC...
But It's a big part of the game (!)

Honda is the power of dreams but even those engines have a sell-by-date my friend.

I've been thinking about the engine swap and you have a point with regards to MAX getting hit or worse midfield with a new engine, re BOT at Hungary '21.

Consider it a badge of honor or some patina. That'll buff out, Killed by Death.

Patina and pathos !
"It was love at first sight. Even at 100 yards away, eyes squinting. But it wasn't until I got close that the car took on a new form. It was the details that ensnared me - details you wouldn't find anywhere else. Details that didn't come from the minds of the creative; instead, these details were earned. These details were unique; irreplicable. This car had a patina that said one thing: "veteran." The monolithic air dam, jutting out from the chin of the car, was peppered - no, sandblasted with rock chips, each one speaking to a different instance of the beast giving chase. Each chip came from a certain track, a specific turn, tossed by a single tire of what may be an equally legendary car. In a world where cleanliness is often praised, this E9 said more to me than most ever have. I couldn't help but wonder where this car had been. What had it seen? I knew it was rich with history; more than most."

Great post , as usual . But I'm pretty sure , he can't buff out all the pain/s (!)

And he will be rewarded with a big scar for the rest of his life (too bad)!

I expect Max to close the gap further to the two McLaren drivers this weekend at Interlagos. He tends to thrive during sprint weekends, and with the tight layout of the circuit plus the chance of rain, this could be another strong outing for him.
