DIY CDV delete?

I did a (quick) search and am just curious. I'll be getting under the car at some point this weekend to put some tranny mounts on and got to thinking about taking off the CDV. Is that something that just unscrews, per se, or would I have to/should I just take it to a shop? Note that I have never taken my car in to an indy shop here and there's really no one that advertises european car care or whatver (small, isolated town).

Any help would be appreciated.

make sure to properly bleed the lines, else you will find yourself call stalled out in the middle of the road lol.

further explanation? clamping it like the link says won't work?

I didn't bleed the lines after the CDV removal.

If you have a pressure bleeder, bleeding the clutch is pretty simple. Kinda cramped but can be done. If you search around there are DIY's. On my first CDV removal I did not bleed and my second I did(didnt notice any difference either way) but I did clamp the lines on both to minimize the leakage. Actually I didnt leak a drop.

Even if you clamp, you WILL get air in the line, no doubt about it, definitely bleed the system.

i had my clutch bled by the dealership (used some clutch feel excuse) right after swapping for a zeck cdv. everything's been smooth as butter since, no issues.
