Up for sale by a forum member is a 2007 BMW Z4 M ROADSTER in silver grau metallic, black interior and black canvas top. It’s an inline 6cyl, 6 speed manual transmission with 330 h.p., RWD. The car is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. It currently has 52315 miles and is driven periodically. The oil has been changed every spring season. All fluids such as brake, power steering, coolant, manual gearbox and rear drive have been changed as well using only BMW product. The spark plugs were replaced along with vanos filter. I've owned this car for 5 years and have babied it ever since. This car is only driven for pleasure by me in the summer and is stored during the winter months. I have all the original BMW equipment that goes with the vehicle such as wheels, exhaust, strut brace and air box. I have a hard top painted the same color as the body, hardtop stand, inside trim covers, BMW allen key and exterior side trim panels when top is down. It has an mstache black front lip spoiler, skyer black carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler and BMW cabin windscreen. Original wheels were stripped then powder coated silver with fresh MICHELIN pilot sports. The vehicle is currently rolling on matte black ARC-8 wheels with CONTINENTAL contisports on it. Both sets of tires are less than 2 summer seasons use here in Chicago, Illinois. The air box was swapped for an AFE cold air intake. The exhaust was replaced with an RPI exhaust that gives it a mean growl. Strut braces were swapped with strong strut top engine/strut braces. The cars windows (including hardtop) are tinted limo black. I have a BMW car cover and BMW hard top cover for it. All BMW vehicle manuals, spare key and original key are included.

This vehicle is being sold as a package and will not be parted out. It is a true BMW enthusiast’s dream car. The vehicle is $24,750 firm which includes everything that I own for this BMW Z4M Roadster. Sad to say I don't get enough drive time with it but it always turns heads and gets compliments due to its uniqueness and sound. I have kept all documentation of said vehicle from point of purchase. This was a (CPO) Certified Pre-Owned vehicle at time of sale. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for your interest. This is being sold at the moment as a package deal. I will keep you in mind if I part it out. If you check my posts here on zpost, you will see the hardtop and its beginnings to finish and how I acquired it. The female body receptacles to power the rear defroster, inside trim panels, bmw allen key, bmw rear windshield, stand, cover and trunk stop limiters were all painstakingly sought after and carefully installed. As you know, this stuff is no longer available and like gold. Thanks again, I'll keep it in mind.

Much appreciated. This car needs nothing at all. Over the course of ownership, I got the bug to get the hardtop and all the extras that could be had for this vehicle. For an M, you've got to be willing to travel, as they are not so easy to come by. I found mine two states away.

I generally search all over the West Coast -- something within driving distance.

I had purchased my STI back in March from Texas and shipped it back...and it was not a fun experience.

Nope. Still for sale. Craigslist runs their 7 day deal then you have to re-up. It's back up and also on cars.com, autotrader, roundel magazine, bmwcca classifieds. I've been driving it just on my days off when it's nice out and no rain. I put the hardtop back on it for a bit. I'll pull it off again and put the soft top back up before winter storage so the canvas doesn't get flat iron marks on it. Still for sale though.....bumping it up.

To answer some of your basics...
1)I believe I am the 3rd owner of this car. I have a copy of the BMW in-service records from Fields BMW in Northfield, Illinois. You can also use the bmw vin decoder found on the web and the last 7 of the vin# to get more info on the car. The last seven of the VIN are LY53226. I have not yet purchased a carfax report for this vehicle but I'm willing to do so if it facilitates a sale or makes it stronger. Maintenance has been regularly scheduled as needed by the bmw set service intervals. This work has been performed at an independent shop by the name of ROLFS Auto whom specialize in BMW in Evanston, Illinois. I have had routine oil changes every season and the car looked over by a mechanic when Spring comes readying it for spring/summer/fall driving. I have all receipts of such and have a binder with all receipts. When I took possession of the vehicle, I had all the fluids changed out including manual gearbox, rear differential, eng oil, coolant and brake oil flushed. The car has never been involved in any accidents. There are no dings, dents or scratches. Interior is immaculate as well as the outside. Convertible top operates fine and has no holes or perforations. It is water tight. No suspension mods have been made to this vehicle. It rolls on the original "M" suspension. RPI exhaust, arc-8 wheels with contitach tires, afe CAI, Strong strut braces, strong strut engine brace, m-stache lip, carbon fiber rear trunk lid spoiler, convt top side covers, convt top cover, bmw car cover, bmw cabin wind blocker, BMW matching hardtop with bmw allen key, trim pieces, stand and cover. Brakes calipers have been painted red to pop on the blk arc-8 wheels, windows have been tinted to 20%. Honestly Peter, there is nothing at all wrong with this vehicle. As stated, I have owned it for almost 5 yrs. now. It's a head turner and gets compliments all the time with how clean it is and the exhaust note. The hard top sets it off into another realm of a vehicle being very unique and unusual. I bought the vehicle when it was 3 mos. out of a BMW certified pre-owned status. It is garaged in the winter. I took possession of the vehicle on 18APR14. It was just out of BMW CPO status.The mileage at time of sale was 46,350. I have the strong strut crossbar brace in my garage. I took it off to better access the engine bay if necessary. I have all of the necessary hardware, etc for that item. At time of purchase the vehicle only came with one key and no booklets. I purchased all of the BMW booklets and a spare key from Fields BMW in Northfield, Illinois. The car was exceptional throughout. Since this thing is probably the nicest thing I own, I wanted to read about it and wanted that new car experience. Plus, I figured the next owner would want such. I ordered everything. Some stuff came from BMW Germany others from BMW USA. I'll try to send you some more pictures of the vehicle. Right now it's tucked under the BMW z4 car cover with trickle charged hooked up to it in my garage. I'm sorry to get back to you later than sooner. Thanks again,
