She's 20. Anyone who was awake during middle school (high school?) sex ed class knows what happens. When you go from having sex multiple times with someone with a condom, not taking a pregnancy test, to then telling them you are pregnant, it seems like she has a screw loose.

Ever hear of those women who tell guys they are pregnant to see their reaction? Not saying this is one of those times, but if it quacks like a duck...

For someone her age who doesn't understand how sex works is quite confusing. You can't rely on someone that naive to take precautions effectively. The fact that she cries wolf is also concerning. That in and of it self should have you on guard. That's where my comment came from. I hope you don't wow her to the point where you get a stage 5 clinger on your hands who is willing to do anything to "keep" you.

Be smart and think with the correct head. Don't assume she has the preventative part covered.

Oh boy am I so so fucked That's a story for later but looking back at it now, I think she's at stage 10. Let's just say I never had anyone do my laundry, let alone ask to help with it.

Valid points, and upstatedoc no I wish I was joking. I was on the phone with her earlier tonight and asked flat out why she told me about it before taking a test. She said she was scared and didn't know what to do; okay sure whatever. But it just kept on going without a seeming end, every question had a counter point and victimization. I ended up hanging up and am getting ready to go out with friends, but the more I dug into this the more I got the vibe that she might have done this to gauge my reaction (which goes without saying, is fucky). I did not ask this directly, however.

I think I have some reflecting to do this weekend.
